Local Dive Schedule
Posted Dives Certified Divers are welcome to join us on these shore based dives! Please be aware that we do have some requirements to dive with us. They are listed after the diving schedule. The sites: A Street, Belmar: This site is located on the Shark River Inlet. One block off of Ocean Ave., behind the apartments. Ocean Ave Bridge, Belmar: Also located on the Shark River Inlet, the Ocean Ave Bridge spans the inlet between Belmar and Avon. AKA South side. Great site for lobsters and spear fishing but know your limits! Ocean Ave Bridge, Avon: As above, but the Avon side. AKA North side. Allenhurst Jetty: Just as it sounds, a wonderful dive at the jetty on the beach in Allenhurst, NJ.

Posted Dive RequirementsShore Scuba Center, LLC posts dives on a monthly basis, all certified divers are welcome to join us. There is usually no charge for these dives. However we do have the following requirements: You must watch the NAUI Risk awareness video and sign a release; this will be good for the dive season. You must notify the Dive shop 24 hours (732) 920-6005 in advance that you wish to join us on the dive. If you are participating in a dive that you are not certified for or any dive that requires you dive with an Instructor (i.e. night, 1st deep dive or have not been diving within one year, etc.). There will be a charge of $ 25.00. All dives are subject to cancellation due to conditions.
You must have the following equipment: Mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, booties, gloves, hood (optional), BC, regulator, depth and pressure gauges, computer (optional), compass, knife, weight belt, primary light, backup light, slate, dive flag, and cylinder(s) The following can be rented: BC, regulator, depth and pressure gauges, wetsuits and cylinder(s) If you fail to meet any of these requirements you will not be able to dive with us! This is for your safety as well as ours and the other divers.
